HPD arrests man wanted for violent crimes

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu police arrested a man wanted in a violent crime on Friday.

Police records show 36-year-old John Abrams was arrested in connection with two robberies.

Shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, an employee at a vape store on Pensacola Street reported he was robbed at knifepoint.

Abrams is also accused of blocking the McCully branch of Territorial Savings Bank.

Abrams was arrested around 3 p.m

His bail was set at $100,000.
