play

Former President Donald Trump is traveling west after beginning his week-long campaign in the Southeast.

Trump is scheduled to hold a rally in Tempe, Arizona, south of Phoenix, on Thursday afternoon. Later this evening, he will travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, for another event with Turning Point, along with founder Charlie Kirk, former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

Arizona and Nevada are both key battlegrounds in the 2024 presidential election.

Some Trump surrogates will be spread out to other swing states on Thursday. Lara Trump will be in Georgia on a women's tour and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be in conversation with Dr. Phil McGraw in Pennsylvania.

Yesterday's news: Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly says Trump is the perfect fit for a fascist

On Tuesday evening, The New York Times published interviews with former White House chief of staff John Kelly, who said Trump was displaying fascist traits. Kelly also told the Times that Trump repeatedly said, “You know, Hitler did some good things, too.”

It looks like Trump will be at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, on election night.

A judge had ordered Army officials to release records of Trump's controversial visit to Arlington National Cemetery in August by the end of the week.

Trump also attended a town hall and rally in Georgia on Wednesday.
