Kansas City went from a likely touchdown to a punt on its first possession.

Patrick Mahomes hit Xavier Worthy for what appeared to be a 32-yard gain to the 1-yard line. But Worthy's feet both touched the sideline, so the pass was incomplete. Worthy didn't have anyone near him, so he probably should have known where he was on the field.

Instead of 1st-and-goal on 1st, the Chiefs faced 2nd-and-goal on 33rd minute. On third down, Mahomes was sacked by Vita Vea, resulting in a 9-yard loss. From the Tampa Bay 41, Kansas City decides to punt.
