This is a summary of crime events in Tamarac through October 28, 2024, compiled through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff's Office to provide residents with up-to-date information.

Burglary

A victim of a burglary was reported on October 24, 2024. The total estimated loss was $1,852. Before a vehicle was stolen, there was a burglary.

On October 22, 2024, a victim of a burglary was reported. The total estimated loss was $840. An adult male reported that his vehicle was broken into and his handgun was stolen.

A victim of a burglary was reported on October 24, 2024. Cars were broken into.

Fraud

A victim of Fraud – All Other was reported on October 22, 2024. The total estimated loss was $1,140. An unknown person made unauthorized transactions from the victim's bank account.

A victim of a fraud – credit card/ATM – was reported on 10/24/2024. The total estimated loss was $800.

A victim of Fraud – All Other was reported on October 22, 2024. The total estimated loss was $155.

Threats/intimidation

A victim of threats/intimidation was reported on October 22, 2024. One or more unknown people threatened the victim.

theft

Xfinity was a victim of Theft – All Other, which was reported on October 25, 2024. The total estimated loss was $6,990. An employee is known to have stolen approximately $6,990 from the company.

One Theft Victim – All Others were reported on October 23, 2024. The total estimated loss was $1,000. The victim reported that an unknown male person picked up a FedEx package from her front door.

One Victim of Theft – All Others were reported on October 26, 2024. The total estimated loss was $800.

One Victim of Theft – All Others were reported on 10/22/2024. The total estimated loss was $700. The victim's known people stole construction tools and are trying to sell them on Offer Up.

Publix Liquors was the victim of a theft – retail/shoplifting at 5873 N University Drive on 10/24/2024. The total estimated loss was $339. An unknown person stole vodka from the liquor store.

A car theft victim was reported on October 23, 2024. The victim reported that her vehicle was stolen by an unknown person.

battery

A victim of battery was reported on October 23, 2024. The man and woman had a verbal argument, the woman said she was abused by the man, and the man was arrested for domestic violence.

A victim of battery was reported on October 24, 2024. Deputies responded to the library for an altercation between two Tamarac city workers.

information

An information victim was reported on October 24, 2024. An anonymous caller said he saw an unknown man throw what appeared to be a bomb over the fence of the Tamarac BSO district office.

Indecent exposure

On October 25, 2024, a victim of Indecent Exposure / Lewd Lascivious Act was reported. The victim reported that a man pulled down his pants, took out his penis and began masturbating while staring at her.

attack

On October 26, 2024, a victim of serious bodily harm was reported. An unknown man pursued the Coral Springs victim following a road rage incident. The perpetrator brandished a black handgun and pointed it at the victim.

Arrests

Visla Albarran, Norman Enrique, 21, was arrested on October 23, 2024 on a charge of felony Dui-Alcohol or Drugs No. 1.

Phidd, Garfield Anthony, 59, was arrested on 10/23/2024 on charges of touching or hitting/assault/domestic violence.

Moore, Ryan Kenroy, 40, was arrested on October 25, 2024 for Indecent Exposure – Exposure of Sexual Organs 2 – Subsequent Offense.
