Steph Curry's buzzer beater goes viral in Warriors-Wizards

The Golden State Warriors traveled to D.C. to take on the Washington Wizards on Monday night and brought superstar point guard Steph Curry back to the court after a three-game absence.

Curry finished the first half with eight points and four assists on 2-for-6 shooting and matched up with his former backcourt mate Jordan Poole, who led the game with 14 points in the first half on 5-for-10 shooting.

Before the halftime siren, Poole made a statement against his former team by firing a three-pointer from 28 feet with just ten seconds left. Washington's excitement was short-lived as Curry made a crucial three-pointer in the corner to take a 54-45 lead at halftime.

Curry's highlight photo went viral on social media and was shared by the NBA and several other major accounts.

Via NBA: “Pump fake. Side step “Quietly press 3 to beat the buzzer.”

The highlight was so great that the official NBA account even shared it twice.

Curry was limited in the first half after missing three straight games with an ankle injury, but was able to return to his normal Steph activities on the court.
