Ada and Canyon County officials are urging voters to prepare for record turnout

The Ada and Canyon County Election Office wants to ensure voters heading to the polls on Election Day are prepared. They say it could be a record year in terms of the number of votes cast. So you can do yourself and your neighbors a favor by checking the ballots and doing your research beforehand. Canyon County Clerk Rick Hogaboam said, “It best serves voters to make an informed decision and be more efficient at the ballot box.”

They also remind voters to check that they have registered properly and, if in doubt, to bring a valid ID and proof of insurance. You can register before voting. All you need to do is make sure you are at the designated polling station. Those who requested mail-in ballots and forgot to fill them out and mail them in can take them to the polling place to drop them off or discard them and vote in person.
