SAN ANTONIO — People experienced heavy rain and frequent lightning as storms swept through Bexar County Monday evening.

Scattered storms and rainfall are expected to peak around midnight on Tuesday.

Most of the action is expected to taper off around 2 a.m. as the storms move toward the Gulf Coast.
