Purdue vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi postgame media videos

A hot shooting night turned into a sloppy win for Purdue that was closer than it should have been as it opened its season with a 90-73 win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi at Mackey Arena.

Purdue's Big Three shined on offense: Trey Kaufman-Renn, Fletcher Loyer and Braden Smith scored 49 points, but Kaufman-Renn and Smith also combined for 10 turnovers on a night when Purdue as a team turned the ball over 16 times resulting in 19 Corpus Christi points.

This, coupled with a defensive performance that Painter found lacking, led Painter and his players to talk about needing more on that side of the field.

Here are videos from shortly after the game when Matt Painter, Braden Smith, Fletcher Loyer and Trey Kaufman-Renn spoke to the media.
