Further information and Bodycam footage was released by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office after several viral videos circulating on social media appeared to show two separate incidents in which sheriff's deputies violently restrained guests at a football game on Saturday.

On Monday, the sheriff's office said that while the administrative review of the two incidents was ongoing, no evidence of wrongdoing by the officers involved had been found.

“In this case, the cell phone camera footage that has been circulating since Saturday does not fully capture the circumstances of these incidents,” Sheriff TK Waters said during a news conference Monday afternoon.

“They (the officers) handled it professionally, even though it looked tough,” Waters added.

According to Waters, there were a total of eight arrests and 35 expulsions in connection with Saturday's University of Florida-University of Georgia football game.

What was shown on the bodycam footage?

1st Incident: Walter Brown

The first incident, which was part of the sheriff's office's administrative review, occurred during the game on Saturday around 4:20 p.m.

Two children reportedly approached a stadium security officer, also known as a SAFE worker, and asked to be granted access to a portion of the stadium for which they had tickets. The SAFE worker told the children to ask their parents and come back with a ticket, according to the sheriff's office.

During the interaction between the SAFE worker and the children, Walter Brown, identified by police as the children's father, appeared and allegedly pressured the SAFE worker, accusing him of kidnapping his children.

Instead of contacting Brown, the SAFE employee contacted sheriff's deputies on duty at the game and reported what happened.

When officials met with Brown, they informed him that he would be ejected from the game, to which Brown replied, “No, I'm not.”

Brown is then heard on the police bodycam footage saying, “You remember I told you I was either going to kill a cop or not go.”

Brown can be heard repeatedly using racial slurs toward an officer who attempted to escort him from the stands.

In order to subdue him, the officers resorted to insulting Brown because he did not want to comply with their orders.

However, even after being hit with multiple Tasers, Brown continues to struggle with officers and even appears to try to unholster an officer's gun before officers can finally escort him away.

2nd Incident: Alexander and Michael Long, Brandon Boley

In a second and separate incident on Saturday Another video shared on X was shown According to a report from FOX 35 Orlando, there appeared to be an altercation between sheriff's deputies and fans during the football game.

The 15-second video was released just before 7 p.m. ET and appeared to show an official in the stands repeatedly punching someone. The person tried to cover his face as he lay down on the hallway steps. In the same video, another officer appeared to strike another person further down the hallway.

Body camera footage released Monday by the sheriff's office was able to provide some context to what led to the violent confrontation between officers and game spectators.

Before the altercation, a woman who appeared to be attending the game approached one of the officials and told him there was a disturbance in the stands.

The officer followed the woman as she pointed to the general area where there appeared to be disturbances.

As officers finally approached the individuals in question, someone who appeared to be a stadium security officer attempted to throw several men off the field.

When officers tried to get the men out, they were unable to do so.

After a fight ensued, officers were able to eject all three men without further incident.

All officers involved in both incidents were still on active duty at the time.
