Hobbs weighs in, reminding Arizonans to cast their early ballots now rather than mail them

Arizona Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs voted at Mesa Community College on Wednesday, reminding Arizonans to cast their ballots by mail instead of mailing them in now that Election Day is approaching.

With less than a week to go before Election Day, voters are being advised to stop sending in ballots by mail. These must be received by Tuesday, 7 p.m. to be counted.

“Be sure to bring your ID if you vote in person. If you still have your mail-in ballot in hand, make sure you drop it off at a secure ballot drop box or early voting location instead of mailing it in to ensure it is received on time,” Hobbs said.

She appeared alongside fellow Democrat Tim Stringham, who is running for Maricopa County Recorder, and Joel Navarro, who is running for a seat on the county Board of Supervisors.

Voters can find drop boxes and check what’s on their ballot online at maricopa.vote. Once they have voted, they can also track their ballot online and find out when it was received.
