Jason Kelce and Taylor Swift share moment after his viral incident

The retired former Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center has turned himself around ESPN analyst Jason Kelce shared a moment with the pop superstar Taylor Swift after defending her during a viral incident over the weekend.

Kelce, the brother of Swift's boyfriend, is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs Travis KelceShe was seen hugging Swift and her mother. Jason publicly apologized when addressing the viral controversy in the opening segment of Monday night countdown.

“I think everyone saw everything that happened this week on social media. Listen, I’m not happy with anything that happened,” Kelce said. “I'm not proud of it and in a heated moment I decided to meet hate with hate and I just don't think that's a productive thing to do.”

The incident occurred after the elder Kelce showed up ESPN'S College game day. A video showed Jason walking among a group of fans while one person shouted a gay slur about Travis.

From another angle, Jason could be seen taking the phone from the man standing behind him and smashing it angrily on the ground. In another clip, the elder Kelce could be seen shouting, “Who is he?” [slur] Now” back to the person after they smash the phone.

Many social media users sided with Kelce after the incident. The former All-Pro center has been officially announced as joining ESPN in May, two months after announcing his resignation. Kelce is one of the most famous players in Eagles history. He started all 193 games of his 13-year NFL career at center, including the franchise's only Super Bowl victory in Super Bowl LII, while also being voted first-team All-Pro six times (2017-19, 2021- 23) and seven-time Pro Bowler (2014, 2016, 2019-23).

Travis Kelce famously revealed that he tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it when he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium last summer before their relationship.
