Grindr accused it of using the return policy to prevent unionization and drive out workers

  • Grindr employees were reportedly given two weeks to make the move
  • The company fired 83 workers for noncompliance
  • It added that the union was formed only after the policy was published

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has filed a formal complaint against LGBTQ dating app Grinder over its enforcement of a return-to-work policy that it says was only put in place in retaliation against the formation of an employee union.

According to the report, Grindr terminated the contracts of “approximately 83 employees” after they violated the new RTO mandate.
