Beyoncé dresses up as Pamela Anderson in the surprise “Bodyguard” music video.

“Baywatch?” More like Beywatch.

In Beyoncé's first visual from “Cowboy Carter,” the singer adopted some of Pamela Anderson's most famous looks in the music video for “Bodyguard.”

The music video, released in the early hours of November 5, features Beyoncé dancing to the track while going through three of Anderson's most famous looks.

The 43-year-old initially sported a look of Anderson's character in “Barb Wire”: He wore a black dress with a plunging neckline, knee-high boots and long fishnet gloves.

Of course, she also wore her own version of Anderson's red swimsuit from “Baywatch,” even though Beyoncé's obviously said “Beywatch.”

Her third appearance in the video was reminiscent of Anderson's outfit she wore to the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards, with a huge pink fluffy hat, a white corset and sparkly leggings.

The video contained some hidden messages.

In addition to a brief shot of Beyoncé's “Barb Wire” gun displaying the word “Vote,” the music video also ends with “Happy Beylloween,” seemingly a reference to Halloween, which occurred just days before the video's release.

The video then ends with white text on a black screen, again saying “Vote.”

Instead of including VMAs signage, Beyoncé appeared to be at the No Visual Awards — a cheeky dig at fans who wanted her to provide full album visuals for both “Cowboy Carter” and her previous album, “Renaissance.” published. The singer previously released visuals for her 2013 self-titled album and her 2016 album Lemonade.

Beyoncé addressed the lack of music videos for her two latest records in a September 2024 interview with GQ.

“I thought it was important for the world to focus on the voice in a time when all we see is images,” she said. “The music is so rich in history and instrumentation. It takes months to digest, research and understand. The music needed space to breathe on its own.”

She added that music videos can sometimes detract from a song.

“Sometimes an image can distract from the quality of the voice and the music,” she said. “The years of hard work and detail put into an album that is over four years in the making! The music is enough.”

She also continued her mantra, “You are the visual, baby,” which was featured on her “Renaissance World Tour” and the accompanying concert film.

“The fans from all over the world became the visual. We all saw the picture on tour. Then we got more footage from my film,” she said, referring to her 2023 film “Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé.”
