What Jonathan David wants from Juventus is a move to Turin

Juventus have intensified their search for Canadian striker Jonathan David and want to sign him as a free agent when his contract with Lille expires at the end of the current season. David has repeatedly demonstrated his ability in front of goal and has developed into one of Europe's outstanding strikers in recent seasons. His impressive form this campaign has only increased the interest of several clubs across the continent, making him a sought-after target in the upcoming transfer window.

Reports from Il Bianconero point out that Juventus have officially inquired about the conditions needed to facilitate a move for David. The Canadian international's entourage has said that he would demand a net salary of 5 million euros per season and a commission of up to 8 million euros. Although these figures represent a significant investment, they are relatively modest compared to the significant transfer fee Juventus would have to pay if David were still under contract with Lille and available on the market.

Juventus are aware that competition to sign David will be fierce, with numerous clubs eager to capitalize on his impending free agency. Nonetheless, they see David as a main target who could effectively strengthen their attacking options. His potential addition would not only provide a much-needed alternative to Dusan Vlahovic, but also provide serious competition for the starting striker role, especially with Arkadiusz Milik is struggling with his injury.

David's proven track record, coupled with his ability to adapt to different playing styles, makes him an ideal candidate for Juventus' tactical set-up. His speed, technical ability and goal-scoring ability could make a significant difference in Juventus' attack, especially as they aim to compete at the highest level in Serie A and the Champions League.

With other clubs floating around, Juventus must act decisively and make their intentions known to ensure they don't fall behind in the race for one of Europe's most talented strikers.
