Live results from the 2024 Alaska presidential election

Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris will face off in Alaska for the state's three Electoral College votes. Trump's campaign focus was on the economy, immigration and crime. Since taking over as Democratic standard-bearer after President Joe Biden left office, Harris has argued that she would usher in a new era and has worked to improve the care economy, protect abortion rights and uphold democracy. The conservative state voted for Trump in the last two elections. In 2020, Trump won Alaska with 53% of the vote to Joe Biden's 43%. In 2016, Trump won Alaska with 53% to Hillary Clinton with 38%. Since Alaska entered federal elections in 1960 after becoming a state a year earlier, it has voted for a Democratic presidential candidate only once – Lyndon B. Johnson in 1964.
