Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Hyatt Centric Malta, marking the brand's first presence on the Mediterranean island. This is the seventh Hyatt Centric hotel in Europe and reflects the company's growing portfolio in the region, which now includes over 80 properties across 13 brands.

Located in St. Julian's, a bustling resort town, Hyatt Centric Malta offers easy access to the island's history and culture. The hotel is close to the marina, world-class restaurants, pristine beaches and several UNESCO World Heritage sites including Valletta.

The 170-room hotel's modern design reflects Malta's rich history and traditions. The interior design is inspired by the vibrant colors of Malta, with blue guest room doors and earth tones throughout the hotel. The aim of these design elements is to create a welcoming atmosphere while providing guests with sophisticated comfort.

Hyatt Centric Malta also offers a locally inspired dining experience at its JUMU restaurant. The menu features a mix of traditional dishes adapted to modern tastes, all made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant aims to provide a lively atmosphere that embodies the Mediterranean spirit.

In addition to the culinary offerings, the hotel offers wellness experiences to relax and recharge your batteries. These include a rooftop pool with sea views, a boutique wellness center with an indoor pool, whirlpool, Finnish sauna and a gym equipped with the latest fitness technology.

Hyatt Centric Malta also offers 1,808 square meters of event space, including three meeting rooms for business events. “We are delighted to welcome guests to the first Hyatt Centric hotel in Malta,” said Andrea Farrugia, Hotel Manager of Hyatt Centric Malta. “The hotel offers an immersive guest experience that captures the essence of Malta and offers a wealth of cultural and historical experiences.”
