Tesla (TSLA) shares rise as Elon Musk's all-in bet on Trump bears fruit

Tesla Inc. Shares rose in early trading as investors bet on the carmaker Elon Musk will be one of the main beneficiaries of Republican candidate Donald Trump, who is on the verge of a second election to the White House.

The Tesla CEO has been arguably Trump's most prominent supporter this election cycle, supporting Republicans with more than $130 million in spending. He was also a tireless messenger, supporting the GOP and attacking Democrats on X, his social network.
