Barron Trump casts ballot for first time, proud mother Melania shares picture; Family reunion at Mar-a-Lago

Barron Trump voted for an obvious presidential run on his first ballot on Tuesday. Election Day also became the day of the Trump family's reunion.

18-year-old NYU freshman Barron Trump has officially cast his vote for the 2024 presidential election cycle. It is the first time that former President Donald Trump's youngest son has exercised his civic duty after reaching adulthood.

Former first lady Melania Trump had her proud moment as a mother on Tuesday, November 5, when she quickly shared the behind-the-scenes photo on social media. “Voted for the first time – for his father! #18yearsold #presidentialelection #proud,” Barron’s mother tweeted on X, formerly Twitter.

The famously tall teenager features in the reveal. Barron arrived in a sharp blue suit to make his vote count. His father has often praised him for giving him “good advice,” reflecting the teenage Trump's influential stance among young voters. Meanwhile, his mother faced assault allegations as “Fake Melania” tags took over the microblogging platform.

US Election Day on November 5th also proved to be a real family reunion moment for the Trump family. Earlier in the morning, Melania accompanied her husband to vote at the Mandel Recreation Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Trump family reunion at Mar-a-Lago

The former first lady and Barron finally met with the 45th president at the Mar-a-Lago mansion for an exclusive, star-studded 2024 election watch party. According to a Page Six source, Trump's second child, Ivanka Trump, is also expected to attend attended the event. With this one step, the celebrity ended the alleged rift between her and her father. Contrary to controversial headlines, Ivanka eventually reunited with her family as the other proactive Trump siblings in the White House campaign – Don Jr. and Eric – were also present at the event.

The socialite was previously one of the senior advisers for her father's first term alongside her husband Jared Kushner. According to Kusher's report in The New York Times, she appears to have no plans to take office again in a possible second Trump term. The former top aides stepped away from their official positions in 2021 after this year's presidential defeat and have since built a community in Miami and shunned the spotlight to focus on their three young children.
