NATO's right-wing representatives congratulate Trump on his victory

Right-wing leaders from NATO countries have congratulated former President Donald Trump after he declared victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.

During a speech to supporters at a campaign party in Florida, Trump declared he had won the election and the popular vote. Harris will not address her supporters tonight.

“We have achieved the most incredible thing in politics,” Trump said.

Trump had been declared the winner of several key battleground states by early Wednesday morning. CNN had declared him the winner in Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania, nearly reaching the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency.

Arizona, Michigan, Nevada and Wisconsin are too close to call, although he came out ahead in every state.
