Here you can find out who won in Tuesday's election

Three new faces are expected to join the Jefferson County Board of Education, according to unofficial results, with residents voting for an incumbent to retain her seat in Tuesday's election.

While four places were up for grabs this year, only two of the races were held.

Tricia Lister was appointed to the board in September to represent District 2 after Chris Kolb resigned. She ran unopposed in Tuesday's election and will now hold the seat for the next four years.

Taylor Everett also ran unopposed and will join the board as District 7 representative, replacing the outgoing Sarah McIntosh. Everett is director of government services at Eight Eleven Group, a national health technology company.

In District 1, incumbent Gail Strange won the vast majority of votes against Mark Gatton and is likely to retain her seat. This was her first election after being appointed to the board last year following the resignation of Diane Porter. Strange is self-employed as an independent consultant. She previously served as communications director for the Presbyterian Church USA for more than a decade

According to unofficial results, Strange received 75% of the vote while Gatton received about 25%.

In District 4, the race was much closer, although Trevin Bass probably came out on top. According to unofficial results, Bass, who was endorsed by the Jefferson County Teachers Association, received about 55% of the vote, while Lewis received 45%.

Bass is executive director of First Strike of Unity and Peace Inc., a mentoring program.
