Woman wanted in fatal Nashville shooting was arrested in Chattanooga

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman wanted in a fatal shooting in the Napier area was arrested in Chattanooga, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD).

Metro police said Chattanooga police arrested Shakia Davidson Wednesday afternoon on a murder warrant.

Davidson was accused of killing 32-year-old Dorothy Stephenson on Sept. 8 after an argument on Green Street escalated into a shooting.

MNPD said Davidson will be returned to Nashville soon.
