Sheriff reports Spring driver was shot in a road rage incident

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) – A Montgomery County driver was shot in an apparent road rage incident Wednesday, according to the sheriff's office.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) said a driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after another driver reportedly fired multiple shots at the man's vehicle. In a news release, MCSO said he suffered a graze wound to his ear.

Deputies responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Sawdust Road in the spring. Authorities concluded in their preliminary investigation that this was a case of road violence involving two men. No other suspects are being questioned.
