Arrest made in connection with the killing of a father, a Cleveland girl who was disabled in a police pursuit accident

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – An arrest has been made in connection with the death of Lotus Legaci Love Jones' 37-year-old father.

Court records show 35-year-old Ralph Jackson was arrested in connection with the Nov. 3 death of Chezarae Jackson.

Jackson was the father of a little girl who became disabled after a car being pursued by East Cleveland police crashed into the car she was in.

Ralph is charged with murder and court records show he was arraigned Wednesday morning in Cleveland Municipal Court.

Bail for the suspect has been set at $1 million, officials said, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 13.
