On Saturday, Jason responded to a heckler who made derogatory comments about his brother and his superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift by yelling, “Hey Kelce! “How does it feel that your brother doesn’t care about dating Taylor Swift?” In response, Jason threw the person’s phone on the ground.

The former Philadelphia Eagles center admitted his feelings of remorse over his actions in the clips (which went viral on social media), saying, “My reaction gave him time, and it also gave this situation notoriety. That’s what I regret.” All right? It doesn't deserve any attention. He also revealed: “The thing, that [he] Regret[s] “The most thing is saying that word,” referring to the insult, adding, “It's just outlandish and over the line and dehumanizing and it got under my skin and caused a reaction.”

Jason also publicly apologized for the incident with a statement during the ESPN broadcast Monday Night Football Ahead of the show on November 4, he said: “I think everyone saw what happened this week on social media. Listen, I'm not happy with anything that happened. I'm not proud of it. In a heated moment, I decided to meet hate with hate, and I just don't think that's a productive thing. He further admitted, “In that moment, I fell to a level that I shouldn’t have. The bottom line is that I try to live my life by the golden rule. I was always taught that. I try to treat people with decency and respect, and I will continue to do that in the future.”

Jason is a former Philadelphia Eagles center who retired from the NFL earlier this year. He's concentrating on his now New heights Podcast with Travis as well as his new commentator gig on NFL Countdown.
