Suspect arrested in Lynchburg burglary

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – A man has been arrested following a robbery in Lynchburg.

According to Lynchburg police, officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 1900 block of Hillsdale Road on Wednesday afternoon around 3:50 p.m. When they arrived, they found an adult male in the apartment. Following announcements, the man surrendered and was taken into custody without incident.

The man was identified as Jeremy Alexander Brewster. He was charged with burglary and theft and is being held without bail at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.
