Ex-raider who killed Las Vegas woman and dog in fiery accident moved into temporary housing

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The former Las Vegas Raiders player convicted of killing a Valley woman and her dog in a crash has moved into halfway house.

25-year-old Henry Ruggs previously worked at the governor's mansion as part of his DUI sentence. According to the Nevada Department of Corrections, he now moved to Casa Grande Transitional Housing.

The former NFL first-round draft pick was sentenced to a minimum of three and a maximum of 10 years in state prison on August 9, 2023, after agreeing to plead guilty to two counts.

The former wide receiver was reportedly driving at speeds of up to 156 miles per hour and had a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit when his Chevrolet Corvette struck Tina Tintor in her Toyota RAV4 in the early morning of November 2, 2021 killed.
