The Lakers will be without two key players against the Grizzlies

Wednesday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies will be quite important for the Los Angeles Lakers as it is the final game of a five-game road trip. The Lakers have lost three of four games on this trip, and a win against Ja Morant and his squad would greatly help them boost their morale, not to mention improve their overall record to 5-3.

However, they have to go into battle with exhausted forces.

Anthony Davis, who is off to a great start this season, injured his foot in Monday's loss to the Detroit Pistons. He will not play on Wednesday, nor will striker Rui Hachimura, who is suffering from an illness.

That's bad news for the Lakers, especially since they're already without frontcourt players Jarred Vanderbilt and Christian Wood, both of whom are still recovering from offseason surgery.

The Grizzlies will also be shorthanded with starting shooting guard Desmond Bane, reserve guard Marcus Smart and forward GG Jackson out of action.
