And it's not the first time the daughter-in-law has gone black for a big event. Shortly after Trump's assassination attempt in July, Lara wore a sleeveless black satin top to give her keynote speech at the end of the second day of the Republican National Convention.

Lara Trump was born Lara Lea Yunaska in Wilmington, North Carolina and is co-chair of the Republican National Committee. Lara met Eric Trump, Donald Trump's son, in 2008. The two began dating, and after six years of dating, they married in 2014 at Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump's estate in Palm Beach, Florida. Lara and Eric have two children together.

She is a key figure in the family and has supported Trump even as he faced criticism for his lack of engagement with female voters. Also as Melania and Ivanka Trump Lara Trump was absent from an important Women for Trump rally, mobilizing voters for Donald Trump.

She was a producer and host of Trump Productions' “Real News Update” and also worked as a producer for Inside Edition before joining Fox News as a contributor in 2021. In December 2022, the company and Lara parted ways when Trump announced his re-election.
