“Look Back” Anime Movie Hits to Stream: When to Watch on Prime Video?

Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto has another hit ready with Look Back, his latest manga-turned-anime release.

Brought to the screen by director Kiyotaka Oshiyama, the film runs just under an hour and will be available to stream to a global audience this week after premiering in theaters earlier this year. The story is about two school-age girls, Kyomoto and Fujino, who are both creative and talented at drawing manga.

Fujino becomes jealous when Kyomoto's manga attracts more attention than hers, driving her to work harder. Eventually the girls form a friendship through art and end up working together, but the competitive spirit in Fujino still lurks. They have something of a common path – until they don't have it anymore – and one of them has to look back to understand how to move forward.

In the story of “Look Back” there is a story that follows the girls into young adulthood. It's a story that's been known to make some fans cry. So be prepared for lessons and scenes that might leave you in your feelings.
