Ja Morant's response to LeBron James' trash talk goes viral

The Memphis Grizzlies and the Los Angeles Lakers are two teams that don't love each other. Their mutual dislike for each other is obvious to fans every time these teams meet. This rivalry has grown since the Grizzlies' resurgence and the arrival of LeBron James to the Lakers. The Grizzlies took on the Lakers tonight and took the win with a final score of 131-114, but not without some spirit.

Today's game was no different from previous matches. Morant felt like he was being fouled most of the game and let his frustration get the best of him. Morant's frustration peaked late in the second quarter. After giving Gabe Vincent an and-1, Morant quickly taunted the Laker with a “too small” gesture. Immediately after that play, LeBron was guarded by Morant and when Morant hit the floor, LeBron made sure to hit Morant right back with the same taunt.

LeBron's taunt went viral on X after the photo was posted on the Lakers' social media. Morant made sure he had the final say, even though he was sidelined for the rest of the second half because Morant injured his hamstring on a failed alley-oop attempt.

Morant took to social media, where he commented on the Lakers' photo with a post of his own that has since gone viral with over 570,000 views on X.

These two teams' dislike for each other continues to grow and with both teams feeling disrespected towards each other, it doesn't look like it's going to end any time soon. The Grizzlies and Lakers meet again this month on November 13th.
