Viral video: Driver caught with tampered meter in Mumbai | Mumbai News

MUMBAI: The Mumbai Traffic Police intercepted a motorist who had and was tampering with his vehicle's meter Commuter congestion.
The traffic police have given details of the car to the RTO in writing.

Authorities reported that they had received complaints about a car operating on a car defective measuring device near the Mumbai airport and cheat customers.
Police teams searched for the car at Vile Parle junction and located it. The driver was identified as Vijay Kumar Jaiswala resident of Kurla, admitted to tampering with the meter, making it run faster.
Mumbai Police released a video of the “Ghoda meter” (Tampered Gauge) on their X-Handle, along with tips for identifying such gauges.
