High Desert primary polls are now open for the general election

The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters has made early voting sites available to help people get a head start on voting.

“Early Vote Sites are ideal for voters to request a replacement mail-in ballot and vote before Election Day, avoiding voter lines that can occur at polling places on Election Day,” said San Bernardino County Voter Registrar Stephenie Shea.

Shea added that the choice of when to vote is yours and that county officials believe it is important to give voters the opportunity to cast their ballot when it is most convenient for their schedule.

The San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters' office is located at 777 E. Rialto Ave., San Bernardino, and voters may cast their ballot early during the following hours:

  • 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, from October 7th to November 4th.
  • 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 2nd.
  • 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 5th.

The additional Early Vote sites will be open from October 29th to November 4th from 10am to 6pm but will be closed on Sunday November 3rd. The locations for the additional Early Vote sites are:

  • Town of Apple Valley Recreation Center, 14955 Dale Evans Parkway, Apple Valley
  • Victorville City Hall, 14343 Civic Drive, Victorville
  • Ontario Conference Center, 1947 E. Convention Center Way, Ontario
  • Joshua Tree Community Center, 6171 Sunburst Street, Joshua Tree
