Halle Bailey says she didn't approve of son Halo's appearance on Kai Cenat's livestream

Halle Bailey is “extremely upset” as her son appeared on a livestream.

The 24-year-old actress recently spoke out after learning that her 9-month-old son Halo participated in Kai Cenat's YouTube video. Bailey shares Halo with his ex-boyfriend DDG (real name Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr.).

In Cenat's Twitch stream “Mafiathon 2” on November 6th, 27-year-old DDG brought Halo to the screen. Later, 22-year-old Cenat cut the portion of DDG and Halo's live stream and re-shared it on his YouTube page.

“I was not told or notified and I am extremely upset about having to deliver my baby in front of millions of people,” Bailey, who was out of town at the time of the livestream, wrote on X.

“I am his mother and protector and am saddened that I was not notified, especially when I am out of town.”

A representative for DDG did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment on Wednesday.

Just a few weeks ago, the “Angel” singer revealed that she experiences “crippling anxiety” when traveling to work without a halo. Bailey shared a few photos on her Snapchat on October 15. “Tonight I flew to be somewhere for the day, but without my son I have crippling anxiety,” she wrote.

“Any advice for moms who still can't stand going to work?” Bailey asked.

Bailey and DDG broke up in early October.

“Dear friends and supporters, after much thought and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways,” the rapper wrote in a statement on his Instagram Stories on October 3. “The decision was not easy, but we believe it is the best path forward for both of us. I cherish the time we spent together and the love we shared.”

“Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other remains deep and true. We are still best friends and love each other,” DDG continued. He said that he and Bailey will focus “on our individual journeys and our roles as co-parents” as they “cherish the bond we have built and the beautiful moments we have shared.”

During an episode of him on Sunday, October 6th Not an ordinary podcast, DDG spoke more about the split, saying he knew there was “a reason she stayed with me” and a “reason we had a child together.”

In November, Cenat streams non-stop on Twitch, with cameos from several celebrities, including DDG.
