In October, Avelo ranked No. 1 in on-time performance as 90.5% of the airline's flights reached their destinations within 15 minutes of their scheduled arrival time – the Department of Transportation's (DOT) standard measure for reporting on-time performance in the U.S. aviation industry. known as A14. Avelo's industry-leading performance in October has helped Avelo rank #1 in on-time performance for the year to date 2024 (January to October). October marked the second consecutive month that Avelo achieved an on-time performance rate of 90% or higher – the only U.S. airline to offer this highest level of reliability. Delta Air Lines and United Airlines rounded out the top three spots with on-time performances of 89.6% and 87.0%, respectively.

Through October, Avelo delivered an industry-leading on-time performance of 85.1%, exceeding the industry average of 77%. Additionally, Avelo achieved the lowest year-to-date flight cancellation rate among U.S. airlines, canceling 0.5% of its flights between January and October. Avelo's performance was well above the industry average of 1.5% year-to-date.

Holiday travel momentum
Avelo is starting the 2024 holiday travel season with more aircraft, more routes and more destinations, including the first two international routes. This week, Avelo will add another next-generation Boeing 737 jetliner Expansion of the fleet to 20 aircraft.
