NYPD seeks suspect in violent touching incident in Bronx

NEW YORK CITY – The New York Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect involved in a forcible touching incident that occurred in the Bronx earlier this month.

According to police, the incident occurred on Monday, October 7, around 6:10 p.m. near Westchester Avenue and Union Avenue. The suspect reportedly approached a 21-year-old female victim and grabbed her buttocks before fleeing on foot northbound on Westchester Avenue.

The victim was not physically injured in the incident, authorities said.

Images of the person wanted in connection with the incident have been released and are available from the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information (DCPI).

Anyone with information is urged to contact the NYPD, which continues to investigate the incident.
