Stephen A. Smith blames Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey for Kamala Harris' election loss to Donald Trump

The quadrennial post-election blame game has ensnared Kamala Harris supporters Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey, who Stephen A. Smith accuses of angering voters.

The Donald Trump critic and ESPN host partly blames the couple's rhetoric for the divide between men and women. Smith was particularly upset that the former first lady told an audience that “a vote for it.” [Trump] is a voice against us.'

“If we don’t agree with you, are we against you?” Smith questioned. “How do you think the men felt about that?” So we have to do what you tell us; Otherwise we are against you? You thought that worked? Do you know anything about most men? Do you think this will work?'

From Smith's perspective, the Harris campaign used “guilty” to manipulate “ordinary people” into “voting for Harris,” he said on his podcast.

To support his point, Smith played a clip in which Winfrey suggested an anti-democratic takeover in the United States in the event of a Trump victory.

Smith accused Michelle Obama of claiming that a vote for Trump was a vote

Smith accused Michelle Obama of claiming that a vote for Trump was a vote “against us.”

“This is the kind of stuff that alienates an electorate, alienates a voter,” Smith said. “Because the freedom you tell them you have, you try to morally confiscate by letting them know that if you don’t vote the way we say you should vote, you’re worthless.”

'Who will stand up for this in a general election?' In an economy full of inflation with over 12 million people crossing the border?'

The rhetoric also serves to underscore the growing gap between elites and most Americans, Smith explained.

“At the end of the day, celebrities who are worth hundreds of millions, if not billions, and who most American citizens feel are incredibly disconnected from their lifestyle and quality of life, would not get away with making them feel bad about doing something else “do” than what their experience says and what they should do about it,” Smith said.

Although Smith is not generally considered a conservative or liberal, he has become increasingly political this year as Trump and Harris battled for the Oval Office. He even made a few appearances on Sean Hannity's Fox News show, with the conservative host referring to the sports pundit as a “friend.”

Last week, Smith went viral on Hannity's show for criticizing the 78-year-old Trump's perceived mental decline.

“I know you're not talking about someone being clear and convincing and expressing their thoughts clearly, but you're bragging about Donald Trump,” Smith said. “We can’t look at the same thing if you do that.”

Smith's political shift coincided with his ongoing contract negotiations with ESPN. The New York Post previously reported that Smith earns $12 million a year with the global leader, but he is rumored to be looking for a nine-figure deal.

'[Dallas Cowboys quarterback] “Dak Prescott just signed a $240 million contract,” Smith said on “Who’s Talking To Chris Wallace” in September. “He makes $60 million a year.” Won two playoff games in eight years.

“I've been number one for 12 years. I'm sorry; “In our respective industries, I win and I am fully aware of what I am worth and I will never apologize for that to anyone.”
