Jake Paul and Mike Tyson Netflix Fight assembles broadcast team

As the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson gets closer on Netflix, diversity has exclusively learned that the Nov. 15 bout has finalized its broadcast team.

Kate Scott (née Abdo) will serve as lead presenter during the live broadcast of the Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) Netflix event, with former world champion Andre Ward serving as lead booth analyst. Ringside play-by-play commentary will be conducted by Mauro Ranallo, with ringside analysis provided by Roy Jones Jr. and Rosie Perez.

Sean Wheelock will serve as rules and scoring expert. Ariel Helwani and Sibley Scoles will serve as reporters, while Kody “Big Mo” Mommaerts will serve as in-ring announcer. Amir Tyson, son of Mike Tyson, will lead preliminary card coverage alongside Sibley Scoles.

The main card will stream worldwide on Netflix on November 15th starting at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT, with the event taking place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX. The preliminary card begins at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT.

All Fight Week events will take place at the Toyota Music Factory Pavilion in Irving, TX. All events are free and open to the public. Doors open daily at 5pm CT for in-person fans and can be streamed online.

First, open workouts begin on November 12th at 6:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. CT. Dasha Kuret will serve as anchor, Scoles as reporter. They will be joined by co-hosts Amir Tyson, former MMA champion Tyron Woodley and YouTube boxing commentator Wade Plemons. Fans can watch the event on MVP's YouTube channel and on MVP's Instagram.

The final press conference between Paul and Tyson will begin on November 13th at 7:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. CT. Helwani will moderate the press conference on stage. Plemons, Amir Tyson and Woodley will co-host the opening and closing segments. The press conference will be broadcast live on MVP's YouTube channel, Netflix's YouTube channel, Netflix Sports YouTube, MVP's Instagram and Netflix's Tudum.

Finally, on November 14th, the public weigh-ins between Paul and Tyson begin at 7:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. CT. Mommaerts will act as moderator and Helwani will report on stage. Scott will join Jones as an analyst at the weigh-in table, along with Woodley. The weigh-ins will be broadcast live on MVP's YouTube channel, Netflix's YouTube channel, Netflix Sports YouTube, MVP's Instagram, Netflix's TikTok and Tudum.

The live broadcast of Paul vs. Tyson on Netflix and the fight week events are produced by EverWonder Studio and ConCom.

In the co-main event, Matchroom's undisputed super lightweight world champion Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) defends her title against unified featherweight world champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano (47-2-1, 31 KOs). The fight will consist of 10 two-minute rounds. Taylor and Serrano met back in 2022 in a fight that Taylor won via split decision.

The preliminary card features Shadasia Green vs. Melinda Watpool for the WBO super middleweight title, Lucas Bahdi vs. Armando Casamonica and Bruce “Shu Shu” Carrington vs. Dana Coolwell.
