(This story has been updated to add new information.)

Just two weeks before the November 5 election, the presidential contest is extraordinarily close. Polls show it's a close race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump.

In the final stretch of the campaign, Harris will give an interview with “NBC Nightly News” and Telemundo on Tuesday, continuing her recent series of media interviews. This is her only scheduled campaign appearance today.

Harris' vice president, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will hold a rally in Madison, Wisconsin; then former President Barack Obama will join him for a second rally in Racine.

Obama will also join Harris in Georgia on Thursday. Former first lady Michelle Obama will join the two in Michigan on Saturday.

Harris is scheduled to visit Texas on Friday and attend a rally in Houston on abortion rights. According to the New York Times, she will also meet with research professor Brené Brown, a podcaster who talks about feeling vulnerable.
