EXCLUSIVE: Macaulay Culkin has joined the cast of the second season of Stand outKilter Films' breakout series at Prime Video in a recurring role, sources tell Deadline.

Executive Producer: Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner. Stand out is based on the video game series from Bethesda Game Studios. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle inhabitants of luxurious fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind – and are shocked to discover that an incredibly complex, joyfully strange and extremely violent universe awaits them.

No one comments, but Culkin is supposed to play a crazy, genius character.

The series stars Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Walton Goggins as the Ghoul, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O'Hagan and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

Stand out debuted as one of Prime Video's three most-watched titles and received 16 Emmy nominations for its first season, including Outstanding Drama Series.

Kilter Films' Athena Wickham is also an executive producer for Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman is an executive producer for Bethesda Softworks. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films are producing in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

Culkin is already in business with Amazon; He recently provided the voice for a character in Prime Video's animated series The second best hospital in the galaxy. He also played an important role at FX American Horror Story: Double Feature and filmed an arc on HBO The Righteous Gems. He is represented by Brookside Artist Management and Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell & Vassallo.
