Yeat Unveils “GO2WORK” Music Video Featuring Summrs

Rising rap star Yeat has released the official music video for “GO2WORK,” featuring Summrs, a standout track from his fifth studio album LYFESTYLE. Directed by Jack Rottier and Alex Edep, the video reunites the two collaborators and alternates between scenes of the duo seamlessly rapping and working in a 7-Eleven-style supermarket.

The video's release was promoted with clever marketing throughout Los Angeles, where bank advertisements appeared with the phone number 1-800-GO2-WORK offering help to those who were “still broke.” or “do you need a job?” This playful ad creates anticipation for the image and underlines the whimsical energy of the title.

LYFESTYLEwhich was released just last week, has already met with great success. It debuted at #1 on the Spotify Top Albums Debut chart worldwide and in the US, with two tracks charting on the Top Songs Debut US chart. The album is currently charting in over 100 countries on Apple Music, cementing Yeats' status as a major force in modern rap.

The video's release comes on the heels of a star-studded performance where Yeat joined Don Toliver on stage at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles to perform her new track to a sold-out crowd.

This year continues to be a breakthrough year for Yeat following the release of 2093 in February, which was his fourth album to hit the top 10 in just two years. His previous albums include Lyfe (No. 10 in 2022), 2 Alive (No. 6 in 2022), ToLyfe (No. 4 in 2023) and 2093 (No. 2 in 2024). LYFESTYLE adds to his growing legacy by showcasing his unique style and solidifying his place in the rap business.
