Political sign theft, assault, fraud, more: Haverford Crime Blotter

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Police in Haverford Township issued their weekly crime bulletin on Wednesday.

Blotting paper incidents occurred between October 18 and 22.

The expungement report also includes arrests made and citations issued.

  • Identity theft in the 100 block of David Drive on October 18th at 10:46 a.m. – The victim reported that someone was trying to open credit card accounts using his identity.
  • Theft in the 100 block of E. Eagle Road on October 18 at 2:55 p.m. – Two packages were stolen from the victim's porch after delivery.
  • Public Intoxication at Wilson Avenue and N. Manoa Road on October 19 at 10:37 p.m. – 40-year-old male, 600 block of Kenmore Road, was cited for public intoxication.
  • Theft in the 100 block of Hathaway Lane on October 19th at 10:23 a.m. – Political sign was stolen.
  • Attempted theft on October 19 at 3:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Exeter Road – Victim reported an unknown male entered her vehicle. The victim observed the actor sitting in the driver's seat walking through her center console. The suspect fled when the victim approached him.
  • Theft in the 100 block of Hathaway Lane on October 20th at 10:33 a.m. – Political sign was stolen.
  • Criminal mischief in the Vernon Road apartment block at 8:27 a.m. October 22 – Victim reported that the plastic rear windows of her Jeep were cut.
  • Fraud in the 1800 block of Hawthorne Avenue on October 22 at 5:57 p.m. – An unknown actor made an unauthorized purchase using the victim's credit card.
  • Retail theft at Lowe's, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on October 22nd at 5:09 p.m. – An unknown male stole approximately $4,000 worth of merchandise.
  • Retail theft at Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on October 22nd at 4:26 p.m. – The store manager reported that two unknown males tricked an employee into loading $3,737 onto various gift cards.
  • Attempted theft in the 300 block of Canterbury Road on October 22 at 10:36 p.m. – vehicle entered – nothing reported missing.

Arrests

  • 40-year-old male, 200 block of Penn Street, Philadelphia. Charges: retail theft, evading arrest on foot, resisting arrest, aggravated assault, disorderly conduct, simple assault. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: October 21st at 1:22 p.m
  • 35-year-old female, 200 block of Penn Street, Philadelphia. Charges: retail theft, fleeing officer, driving at an unsafe speed, driver's license revoked, unregistered vehicle and fraudulent license plate removal. Location: Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road. Date: October 21st at 1:22 p.m
