Haris Rauf gave Pakistan the best chance to level the series Australia In Adelaide as the right-arm pacer ran through the hosts' halfway line with a five-wicket spell 2nd ODI on Friday.
Rauf's 5 off 29 never let Australia settle down after Shaheen Shah Afridi cheaply dismissed openers Matthew Short (19) and Jake Fraser-McGurk (13). He finished with figures of 3 for 26.
Australia were bowled out for 163 in 35 overs, with Steve Smith top scoring with 35. The former Australia captain got the better of Mohammad Hasnain, but he was safely saved by the wicketkeeper and Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan.

Rizwan suffered six casualties in the match, all of whom were caught.
After the narrow defeat in the first game, visiting captain Rizwan decided to field first after winning the toss on a bouncy grass-covered pitch.
Rauf completed his second five-wicket haul in ODIs by dismissing trailing Australian captain Pat Cummins (13).

He started his wicket-taking spree by sending back Josh Inglis (18) and then hurt the Australians even more with the wickets of the experienced Marnus Labuschagne (6) and Aaron Hardie (14).
Glenn Maxwell looked good, having reached 16 off 20 balls, but Rauf cleared him off the next ball, putting even more pressure on the hosts.
