When is Daylight Saving Time 2024?

Daylight saving time begins each year on the second Sunday in March when clocks are set forward one hour. They revert back to standard time on the first Sunday in November, when Daylight Saving Time ends.

This year, Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 3rd, bringing us back to standard time. When the clocks reach 2 a.m., they move back one hour to 1 a.m

“Spring Forward” 2025 will take place on Sunday, March 9th.

Who observes summer time?

According to the National Conference of State Legislators, at least 30 states have considered or are considering legislation or resolutions related to daylight saving time in 2024. Texas is not one of these states.

Only two states, Arizona and Hawaii, observe permanent standard time.
