Southaven police are investigating the crime scene near the apartment complex

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Southaven police are investigating a crime scene Friday morning.

Officers are in the area of North Creek Apartments near Stateline Road.

Police said it is an active crime scene and are asking motorists to avoid the area.

The road will be closed for a longer period until the investigation is completed.

The SPD said there was no danger to the population. We'll keep you updated.
