John Travolta's daughter Ella announces long-awaited news while debuting new looks

John Travolta's only daughter, Ella Bleu Travolta, is finally making good on her promise to share a major musical work with fans this year.

The 24-year-old posted a new black and white photo on her social media in which she is seen multiple times in different looks, mostly playing with black lace bustier tops and suit silhouettes.

She shared this alongside the snap, which highlighted the quirkier sides of her personality She would be releasing her first ever EP this week titled Colors of love.

“Complete EP with 2 new songs coming out this Friday.” Ella captioned it. The singer-songwriter has released five tracks so far, three of which have only come out in the last few months.

After she released her debut single “Dizzy” in 2022, “No Thank You” followed in the same year. In September, she released “Little Bird,” which she said was inspired by her late mother Kelly Preston, and followed it up with “Lost in Your World” last month.

She wrote about “Little Bird” at the time: “‘Little Bird’ is a song about a beautiful time in my life. I spent the last two years thinking about what I wanted this song to look like, only to write it overnight. This song is about celebrating life.

Ella explained in an interview with People That was certainly thanks to her famous father, 70, who inspired her to make and record music.

“At the beginning of the pandemic, I had a lot of little voice notes on my phone with snippets of songs I made up or melodies. I play the ukulele and write a lot on the ukulele, so little ukulele songs.” [too]” she explained.

After writing a few songs, Ella decided it was time to show them to someone and chose her father. “He was like, ‘Oh, wow, you should really finish these. You should finish these songs and then you could record demos of them or something.'”

She continued, “So I thought, 'Okay, well, I'll do that.' So I just started finishing songs. It was just this gradient of how everything came about. But that was definitely a big part of me wanting to get more into it, just my dad.

As she began writing more and gaining more confidence in her material, she recalled becoming more open to sharing her music with other family members, including her 13-year-old younger brother Benjamin.

Ella cited her late mother as a driving force behind some of her music

“I’ll hear him humming later,” she says of the teen’s reaction to her songs. “They support me so much and definitely play a big role if I ever say, 'Okay, do I like this song? I always have to ask her for her opinion. And I really appreciate that.”

Ella also explained that she always turned to John when she needed advice about life in the spotlight and the entertainment industry. “I often run things from him.”

“He is an absolute role model for me and one of the biggest things he does is give me advice. The best advice I've ever gotten is from him, of course, but he also really leaves it up to me.” I really appreciate it. He really trusts me and my instincts.
