HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Police in Haverford have released details about recent crimes in the community.

These incidents occurred between October 23rd and November 5th.

  • Theft at Bryn Mawr Terrace, 700 block of Haverford Road, on October 23 at 11:58 p.m. – The victim reported $65 was stolen from his room.
  • Theft in the 200 block of Stanton Road on October 24th at 9:02 p.m. – Prescription medications were stolen from the residence.
  • Theft at the YMCA, 800 block of N. Eagle Road, on October 24th at 9:53 p.m. – Apple AirPods were stolen from a bag in the stands.
  • Retail theft at Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on October 24 at 2:17 p.m. – An unknown male stole $26.90 worth of merchandise.
  • Retail theft at Kohl's, 200 block of West Chester Pike, on October 25 at 11:27 a.m. – Two unknown males stole three pairs of sneakers and a comforter.
  • Theft in the 2700 block of Overbrook Terrace on October 26 at 8:49 p.m. – Political sign was stolen.
  • Theft at Haverford Middle School, 1700 block of Darby Road, on October 26 at 6:06 p.m. – Electric scooter stolen from bike rack.
  • Scam on the 2900 block of Haverford Road on October 28 at 1:33 p.m. – The victim reported that someone accessed his American Airlines account and redeemed 14,000 miles valued at $140.
  • Motor vehicle theft at the block of Woodbine Road on October 28 at 9:59 p.m
  • Bicycle thefts in the 2400 block of Wynnefield Drive at 9:28 a.m. Oct. 28
  • Retail theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on October 28th at 9:47 p.m. – An unknown male stole merchandise valued at $157.34.
  • Attempted burglary in the 100 block of Highland Lane at 2:19 a.m. Oct. 29. Several break-in attempts were observed. No entry was granted and nothing was reported missing.
  • Identity theft in the 100 block of Harding Avenue on October 30 at 1 p.m. – Victim reported that someone opened a T-Mobile account using her identity.
  • Fraud at Llanerch Country Club, 900 block of West Chester Pike, on October 30 at 1:10 p.m. – Victim reported a check was altered and cashed after it was mailed.
  • Theft in the 2600 block of Darby Road on October 30th at 10:45 a.m. – Two antique solid wood doors valued at $2,000.00 were stolen from an unsecured POD storage unit in the victim's driveway.
  • Identity theft in the 1700 block of Academy Lane at 11:40 a.m. Oct. 31 – Victim reported someone opened a Verizon account using his identity.
  • Public drunkenness at JD McGillicuddy's, unit block of Brookline Boulevard, on October 31 at 8:10 p.m. – 68-year-old male, 300 block of Kenmore Road, was cited for public drunkenness.
  • Retail theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on Oct. 31 at 10:08 p.m. – Two women and a man stole merchandise valued at $629.59.
  • Attempted retail theft at Lowe's, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on October 31 at 12:48 p.m. – An unknown male stole a water heater valued at $499.99. The suspect left the goods behind when he was approached by an employee.
  • Retail theft at Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike, on October 31 at 9:35 a.m. – The store manager reported that an unknown actor stole $1,340.00 worth of skin care products.
  • Scam at Smoothie King, 1200 block of West Chester Pike, on November 1st at 8:09 p.m. – An employee reported receiving a call from an unknown man posing as a police officer. The caller accused the employee of forgery and advised her that the only way to avoid jail time was to give him $500 in gift cards.
  • Theft at the Wyndmor Apartments, 100 block of S. Eagle Road, on November 1 at 4:24 p.m. – Victim reported his Louis Vuitton slides were stolen.
  • Theft in the 800 block of Dover Road on November 1st at 7:40 p.m. – An iPhone was stolen after delivery.
  • Bicycle theft in the 700 block of Oakview Road at 9:35 a.m. Nov. 1
  • Theft in the 1500 block of Dorchester Road on November 2nd at 11:25 a.m. – There was forced entry into the trunk of a vehicle and the spare tire was stolen.
  • Theft in the 2300 block of Haverford Road on November 2nd at 3:40 p.m. – The victim reported that nine art prints valued at $4,900.00 were stolen from the packaging before they were delivered.
  • Theft in the 2600 block of Saint Davids Lane on November 2nd at 9:19 p.m. – Halloween lights valued at $50.00 were stolen.
  • Retail theft at Giant, 100 block of W. Township Line Road, on November 2nd at 8:44 p.m. – An unknown male scanned and paid for a bag of potato chips and left the store with a shopping cart full of groceries valued at $1,542.25 .
  • Theft in the 100 block of Hastings Avenue on November 3rd at 1:24 p.m. – Political sign was stolen.
  • Theft at Fairfield Road block of flats on November 3rd at 11.25am – Two youths stole a political flag. A large group of youths were found to be in possession of numerous political signs and the flag.
  • Theft on the 500 block of Manoa Road on November 3rd at 1:17 p.m. – Vehicle entered – two sets of car keys stolen.
  • Theft on the 1700 block of Ridgeway Road on November 4th at 10:01 a.m. – Political sign was stolen.
  • Fraud in the 2500 block of Wynnefield Drive on November 4th at 10:42 a.m. – Victim reported two unauthorized purchases made on her credit card.
  • Theft in the 100 block of Washington Avenue on November 5th at 6:43 p.m. – Political sign was stolen.

  • 44-year-old male, 100 block of E. Turnbull Avenue, Havertown. Charges: Possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Location: 100 block of E. Turnbull Avenue. Date: October 18 at 6:32 am
  • 54-year-old male, 1400 block of Windsor Park Lane, Havertown. Charge: Driving under the influence of alcohol. Location: 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: October 22 at 9:08 am
  • 36-year-old male, 200 block of Pilgrim Lane, Drexel Hill. Charges include accidents involving injury, failure to stop and render aid, accident causing damage to attended vehicle and reckless driving. Location: 1300 block of Leedom Road. Date: October 24 at 7:43 am
  • 25-year-old male, 2900 block of Kensington Avenue, Philadelphia. Charge: retail theft. Location: Rite Aid, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: October 26th at 1:30 p.m
  • 36-year-old male, 1400 block of Dekalb Street, Norristown. Charges: retail theft, criminal mischief, evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance. Location: Kohl's, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: October 29 at 1:51 p.m
  • 30-year-old male, 3400 block of Red Lion Road, Philadelphia. Charges: retail theft and false identification to law enforcement. Location: Kohl's, 200 block of West Chester Pike. Date: October 29 at 1:51 p.m
  • 39-year-old man, apartment complex on Penn Boulevard, East Lansdowne. Charge: retail theft. Location: Acme, 1300 block of West Chester Pike. Date: November 1st at 4:29 p.m
