Four charged in drug ring – ButlerRadio.com

Four people in Butler face charges following a police drug investigation.

It started last December when William Shaw was arrested for possession with intent to distribute. During a conversation on the prison phone, Shaw explained to Clint Nagle, 40, of Butler, how to obtain crystal methamphetamine.

Last July, police received a tip that 35-year-old Kaitlyn Dempsey was selling methamphetamines with Nagle and 52-year-old Jason Prementine.

In August, police arrested Dempsey on outstanding warrants and searched the home where she was staying and the home of an associate, 41-year-old Ben Mauthe. During the search, nearly 50 grams of methamphetamine were found on both, as well as drug paraphernalia, psychedelic drugs and THC wax.

Nagle, Dempsey, Plementine and Mauthe were all charged with conspiracy, manufacturing, delivering or possessing with intent to manufacture or deliver, criminal use of communication facilities and possession of a controlled substance with intent.
