At least five people, including two teenagers, have died after shootings in two Minnesota homes in what police are calling a quadruple murder-suicide.

Duluth police reported that around 2:10 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to a home on Tacony Street in Duluth, west of Lake Superior, for a welfare check and found two people dead.

The victims, a 47-year-old woman and a teenager, apparently died of gunshot wounds, police said.

A suspect was identified and officers set up a cordon around his home in the 4400 block of West 6th Street, about a mile northeast of the first shooting scene.
