A video from a Republican senator Ted CruzCaroline's daughter Caroline has gone viral in which her father praises President-elect Donald Trump and Caroline doesn't even hide her “disgusting” expression. “Don’t clap for this,” she told her mother, which was clear from the movement of her lips, not to clap at what her father said. “I hope and pray that Donald Trump is re-elected as president of the United States,” Cruz said to cheers from the audience and her wife also clapped. This was Ted Cruz's victory speech when the presidential election had not yet been called. Caroline's mother's expression didn't change as she continued to smile and clap.
The Republicans against Donald Trump shared the video that has already gone viral and Trump haters love it. “Thanksgiving is going to be fun at the Cruz house,” one wrote. “She might actually break the generational curse,” wrote another. “His daughter obviously has more dignity than him,” reads another post.

“This family should never gossip after what Trump said about them. At least the daughter has some self-respect,” one post said, referencing Trump's 2016 statement that Ted Cruz's wife was ugly and Cruz's father was linked to the assassination of JF Kennedy. Trump called Cruz Lyin Ted and even doubted his suitability to be US president since he was born in Canada. Ted ran for president that year, but dropped out of the Republican primary and then endorsed Trump. Trump later reportedly apologized to Ted Cruz.

“Her dad is Ted Cruz, she has no compassion whatsoever,” one wrote.
