Shreveport police arrest a man in a violent domestic incident in Willis-Knighton

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) – A man was arrested for a suspected domestic violence incident at a Shreveport hospital.

Police said they were alerted to a serious domestic violence incident in Willis-Knighton South around 3:15 a.m. on Oct. 27. A hospital official reported that the victim had significant facial swelling, prompting an examination.

OTHER CRIMES IN ARKLATEX

When officers spoke with the victim, he told them he had been punched twice in the face by his friend Khiry Jenkins. This resulted in fractures on both sides of his face. Investigators checked the injuries with medical personnel.

On Nov. 8, Jenkins was arrested for inflicting serious bodily harm on a dating partner.
